Authenticity You Can Trust

Exceptional signatures. Confidence in every detail.
A rare autograph deserves more than a striking display. It deserves clear documentation, a carefully described history and a collector team you can speak with before you buy.
At Racing Helmet Collector, we bring 20 years of experience in F1 autograph collecting, authentication and verification to our selection of signed helmets and memorabilia. We help you understand the signature, the collectible and the documentation that accompanies your chosen piece.
Understand the Documentation
Certificate of Authenticity (COA)
A COA records the issuer’s assessment of an autograph’s authenticity. It may identify the signer, describe the collectible and include a reference number or matching hologram. Its value comes from the credibility of the issuer and the evidence behind the assessment.
Letter of Authenticity (LOA)
An LOA provides a written authentication assessment, often with more detail about the signature, the item or the basis for the opinion. Signing details and supporting photographs may be included when available.
Letter of Provenance (LOP)
A LOP records the known history of a collectible, such as its source, previous ownership or how it was acquired. Provenance helps establish context and trace the piece’s journey. It should be considered alongside the autograph assessment and other supporting evidence.
Holograms and Reference Numbers
A matching hologram or reference number helps connect an item to its documentation. Where an issuer provides an online verification service, the record can be checked against the collectible. A hologram supports identification; the issuer and the underlying authentication remain essential.

The Signature and the Piece
A genuine autograph and a helmet’s racing history are separate considerations. A signed visor may be mounted on a display tribute helmet. Authentication of the signature does not, by itself, establish that the helmet or visor was worn or used in a race.
Review each listing for the signed component, helmet type, condition and any stated racing history. The documentation supplied can vary by piece, so confirm the specific certificates, letters and supporting materials included with your selection.
Acquire With Confidence
Before securing a piece, speak with our collector team. Share its AS reference number and we can help you review the photographs, signature, condition and accompanying documentation.
Whether you are pursuing an Ayrton Senna signed helmet or an exceptional signature from another racing icon, we are here to help you choose with confidence.
