This helmet is an extremely rare Ayrton Senna signed full-scale 1:1 1977 Karting Early Days tribute helmet, built around an original BELL STAR visor featuring a very old, rare white autograph from Senna. The accompanying Motor Union LOA states that the original BELL STAR helmet visor was personally signed by Ayrton Senna during the 1988 German Grand Prix at Hockenheim, and that the original owner served as a pit-lane marshal, granting him access to the pit lane and drivers at the event.

The signed visor was later mounted on a 1977 Ayrton Senna karting-era tribute helmet, crafted to match the early Gledson / Coca-Cola karting design used during Senna’s beginning years in motorsport. This is a very special Senna collector piece because it combines a period BELL STAR signed visor, an old Senna autograph from the 1988 Formula 1 era, and a tribute to his early karting roots.

Built on a BELL STAR helmet, this piece features a SNELL 1975 certification label and vintage BELL STAR interior markings. The visor itself is marked BELL VESC-8, with the autograph signed prominently across the front in white.

Ayrton Senna, arguably the greatest F1 driver of them all, drove a total of 161 Grands Prix, amassing an impressive 41 wins throughout his career. Senna raced for McLaren between 1988 and 1993, winning the F1 World Championships in 1988, 1990, and 1991. He remains one of the most legendary and revered drivers in motorsport history.
