This Ayrton Senna signed Team Lotus crew jacket is a highly rare and historically significant artifact from the early years of Senna’s legendary Formula 1 career. The jacket, autographed by Senna himself, dates back to his time with Team Lotus, where he first made his mark with stunning pole positions and race wins that cemented his status as a rising superstar in the sport.
What makes this item especially valuable is its direct provenance from the personal collection of Nigel Stepney, a senior member of the Lotus team during Senna’s tenure. Stepney was a highly respected figure in Formula 1, with technical roles at Lotus, Benetton, and Ferrari, and had firsthand access to drivers, equipment, and inner team operations. His close working relationship with Senna lends unmatched authenticity to this piece. The jacket comes with its original Letter of Authenticity, ensuring full traceability and verification. Items with this level of historical relevance and direct connection to both Senna and Stepney are exceptionally rare in the collector world.
